In Aitkin County now is the time to learn about fragile lakes and how Alternative Shoreland Standards offer a means of protecting them against over development.
On February 19, Tuesday at 9 a.m., I will continue my conversation with the county commissioners about a new "Added Protection Lakes" classification, that they may adopt, according to the Minnesota DNR Commssioner.
